1. Information You Create or Import

Page Press Bookshelf lets you photograph, import, organize, decorate, back up, and export journal pages and related book content. This may include photos, scanned pages, book titles, captions, dates, mood labels, decorative elements, custom stickers, and other content that you choose to add.

In the current version, this content is stored locally on your device in the app's local files and database. Page Press Bookshelf does not automatically upload your journal pages, book images, custom stickers, or creative designs to a Page Press server.

2. Photos, Images, Camera, and Files

The app may request access to photos, images, or files when you choose to import content, select a cover image, create a sticker, restore a backup, or perform a similar action. Page Press Bookshelf accesses the items you choose through the device's system picker or another user-initiated selection flow.

Page Press Bookshelf does not continuously scan your photo library or files in the background.

3. Local Storage, Backups, and Exports

Your Page Press library is primarily stored locally on your device. Page Press Bookshelf can also create user-requested backup files and exports such as PDF or image files.

If you choose to save, share, or upload a backup or export using another app, cloud service, storage provider, messaging service, email provider, or operating-system share sheet, that third party's privacy practices apply to the copy you send there.

4. Accounts and Page Press Cloud Services

The current version of Page Press Bookshelf does not require a Page Press user account and does not provide a Page Press cloud-synchronized journal library.

If optional accounts, cloud backup, or cloud synchronization are added in a future version, this Privacy Policy and applicable in-app disclosures will be updated before those features are released.

5. Premium Purchases and RevenueCat

Page Press Bookshelf offers optional Premium purchases through the platform app store. Google Play or Apple's App Store, as applicable, processes the payment transaction and operates under its own privacy policy and account terms.

Page Press Bookshelf uses RevenueCat to help validate purchases, determine whether Premium access is active, restore eligible purchases, and manage store entitlement status across supported platforms.

For those purposes, RevenueCat may process purchase and entitlement information, store transaction identifiers, an app-user identifier, and limited app/device technical information needed to provide purchase infrastructure. Page Press Bookshelf does not send your journal-page images, book content, custom stickers, or creative designs to RevenueCat merely because you purchase or use Premium.

6. Advertising

The current released version of Page Press Bookshelf does not display advertising and does not use an advertising SDK to serve targeted ads.

If advertising is introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy, consent flows where required, and the app's store privacy disclosures will be updated before that version is released.

7. Analytics, Tracking, and Sale of Personal Information

Page Press Bookshelf does not sell your personal information or your journal content. The current version does not use third-party advertising trackers.

Purchase-related technical and transaction information may be processed by RevenueCat and the applicable app store as described above. Basic technical information may also be processed by the operating system, device manufacturer, or services you independently use to download, install, back up, share, or troubleshoot the app.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Your Page Press books and related local content remain on your device until you delete them, remove the app's local data, or uninstall the app. Backup or export files that you create may remain wherever you chose to save them until you delete those files yourself.

Because the current version does not use a Page Press account or Page Press cloud journal database, there is no separate Page Press online journal library to request deletion of. Purchase records may be retained by the applicable app store and RevenueCat according to their respective legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and service requirements.

9. Security

Page Press Bookshelf is designed to minimize unnecessary transmission of personal journal content by keeping the core library local to the device. However, no software or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and any backup or export files you create.

10. Children's Privacy

Page Press Bookshelf is not specifically directed to children under 13 and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children through a Page Press account or backend service.

11. International Processing

Purchase and entitlement providers such as app stores and RevenueCat may process relevant transaction and technical information in countries other than your own. Their privacy policies describe their processing locations and safeguards.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This policy may be updated when Page Press Bookshelf adds or changes features that affect privacy, including cloud synchronization, accounts, analytics, advertising, purchase infrastructure, or other online services. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when the policy changes.
